The Greek packed squad of Hellas Verona sinked Cagliari even further down the Campionato table thanks to Panagiotis Tachtsidis’ screamer in the last two minutes of the game for a 1-0 victory over the Rossoblu. The Greek midfielder met the ball a few yards outside the box and with a powerful knock took the lead and subsequently the three points for the northeastern Italian club, lifting them to fourth place in the Serie A, leveled with Sampdoria and four points behind the top ranking Roma and Juventus, all of whom play tomorrow. Vaggelis Moras and Panagiotis Tachtsidis stayed on the pitch for the entire duration of the game, while the third Greek Gialoblu, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos, got no playing time. The Campionato will continue tomorrow with the clash between the two solely victorious teams of the league, AS Roma and Juventus, at the Juventus Stadium in Turin. AS Roma’s Greeks – Kostas Manolas, Vasilios Torosidis, Jose Holebas – are all in good form and expected to get some playing time.
