In 2002, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" opened on 108 screens, and thanks to major word-of-mouth buzz, went on to earn a domestic gross of $241 million. The film was made for $5 million. Fourteen years later, the $18 million sequel hits 3,000 screens this weekend.
