Greece's Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis has told IMF head Christine Lagarde his country will be able to repay a debt installment by April 9, Lagarde announced after meeting the minister in Washington.The two held talks confirming Greece will be able to meet the deadline, Greek daily Kathimerini's English-language version says.Dimitris Marda, a deputy for Varoufakis earlier told Skai TV that the EUR 450 M tranche would be paid by April 9, adding state revenues in March had surpassed estimates.Greece is now pinning its hopes on the speeding up of negotiations with international lenders over the extension of its current bailout problem.Some experts are still raising their concern that the debt-ridden country will run out of money sometime this year and will not be able to make current payments, triggering fears it might even leave the single-currency area.
