Panathinaikos lost ground in the title race when it lost an appeal on Thursday against a three-point deduction for fan violence. For Olympiakos, Alejandro Dominguez beat goalkeeper Kostas Theodoropoulos in the 13th minute off a cross from Ibrahim Afellay.
