After Athens, the new trend of Escape Rooms has conquered Thessaloniki. Within the next month, two escape rooms will begin operating in Thessaloniki. It is estimated that one of them will be the largest in Europe, with an area of 400 sq.m. According to its founders, Giorgos Michailidis and Vasilis Pantsakis, “The MindTrap” will host six rooms where different escape games will be conducted. Michailidis stated that visitors will have the chance to play, for the first time in Greece, “Insanity” in a mental hospital. The second Escape Room in Thessaloniki, entitled “Locked”, will host a game inspired by TV series CSI Las Vegas and CSI Miami. “In the crime lab, participants should try to find clues and solve puzzles in order to solve the crime in one hour,” 27-year-old Irene Iliadou told the Athens Macedonian News Agency. She and 45-year-old Vasilis Matsos created the space.
