1,000 Applicants for 1 Job Position in Greek Public Sector

Approximately 15,000 applications were submitted electronically in just 18 days in regards to ASEP’s recent notification of 149 job openings. The Greek Finance Ministry, has 149 staff positions which will be filled by candidates that hold a higher, technical, or secondary education. In particular, according to ASEP,  6,403 applications were submitted by candidates with higher education degrees, 1,563 applications by candidates with technical education, and 6,695 applications from candidates with secondary education degrees. Furthermore, ASEP issued an invitation to fill 60 positions in the Financial sector at the Secretariat of Fiscal Policy, of the Greek Finance Ministry.
