European rating agency Scope upgraded Greece’s sovereign rating to BBB- from BB+ last Friday evening with a stable outlook. The move came just a few days after the sovereign retained a one-notch uplift from Japanese rating agency Rating and Investment Information (R&I) to BBB- last Monday.
