Top-seeded Maria Sakkari of Greece and second-seeded Anett Kontaveit of Estonia advanced to the final of the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Saturday. Sakkari recorded a 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4 victory over Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania in their semifinal match on Saturday. Sakkari rallied from a break down to win her match in just over three hours to advance to her fourth career WTA singles final.
