An Afghan citizen, who worked for the Delegation of the European Union in Kabul, as well as his family members, a total of 8 people, arrived in Athens today via Madrid. The aforementioned persons were evacuated from Afghanistan a few days ago and were provided with assistance by our Embassy in Madrid. Their arrival and stay in Greece are conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Citizen Protection and the Ministry of Migration and Asylum.
