Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Katrougalos, will participate, on Monday, 8 April, in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council which will be held in Luxembourg.Talks among the Ministers of Foreign Affairs will revolve around current international developments, while emphasis will be placed on the situation in Afghanistan, in the context of the relevant peace talks. The EU’s Eastern Partnership will also be discussed in light of the related annual ministerial meeting which will take place in Brussels on 13 May, on the 10-year anniversary of its establishment (2009). An informal discussion will follow during a working luncheon, on the situation in Venezuela and, more specifically, on the latest meeting of the International Contact Group, the establishment of which Greece has led.
