Within the framework of regular bilateral consultations, a meeting was held today in Athens between delegations the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Greece and Turkey, headed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dimitris Paraskevopoulos, and by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ambassador Sedat Önal.The two delegations discussed issues concerning broader bilateral relations, as well as the promotion of a positive agenda for bilateral cooperation. Furthermore, the delegations assessed the current situation in the Aegean Sea and also discussed the international aspects of the Cyprus problem.
