Thousands have taken to the streets in Greece to protest a deal with neighbouring Macedonia to end a decades-old dispute over its name. More than 15,000 people at the International Trade Fair where the Greek Prime Minister made a keynote speech. Athens and the Balkan state reached a deal in June ending years of hostility between the two countries over the name of Macedonia. But the agreement has triggered a furious response from many Greeks who argue the name Macedonia could imply territorial claims over its province of the same name.
