Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Terens Quick met at his office today with the new Supreme President of AHEPA, George Loucas. The courtesy visit took place on the occasion of Mr. Loucas’ assumption of his duties at AHEPA, a historic Greek community organization that carries out exceptional social work. Mr. Loucas was accompanied by AHEPA executive director Vasilis Mosaidis. The Director General of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad, Michalis Kokkinos, also attended the meeting. Earlier in the day, Mr. Quick received the President of the Greek Community of Cairo, Christos Kavalis, with whom he discussed matters concerning the education of the Greek community in Cairo and acceleration of the process, already approved by the Hellenic Parliament, for incorporating the Greek Hospital of Cairo into the Greek National Health Service (EOPYY).
