The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Kotzias, will meet at the Foreign Ministry, at 11:45 on Monday, 2 July, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh, who is carrying out a visit to Greece, following Mr. Kotzias’ visit to Hanoi last year in February.In their one-on-one meeting, the two Ministers will discuss the further development of cooperation between the two countries. The talks will focus on issues of regional and international interest and on the strengthening of Greek-Vietnamese bilateral relations. Emphasis will be put on the sectors of trade and economy, educational and cultural cooperation, and tourism and shipping. Their one-on-one meeting will be followed by expanded talks between the two delegations.Following the talks, at about 13:15, the two Ministers will sign an Agreement on waiving visas for holders of diplomatic passports, after which, at about 13:20, they will make joint statements to the media. The meeting will continue in a working luncheon.
