Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Terens Quick, met today with the Georgian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs competent for diaspora affairs, Zviad Gonadge, who was accompanied by the Chairman of the Parliamentary Diaspora Committee, Zviad Kvachantiradge.During the meeting, which took place in a warm climate, the excellent level of bilateral relations was stressed. Mr. Quick presented the characteristics of the Greek diaspora worldwide and the trilateral schemes promoting cooperation among the diasporas of Greece, Cyprus and other countries. Mr. Quick also announced to his interlocutors that he will be representing Greece at the celebrations to be held in Tbilisi this coming May, marking the centennial of the 1st Georgian Republic.
