Heading a business mission of the most important Greek companies active in Turkey and representatives of Greece’s Public Power Corporation (PPC), which is active through a subsidiary in the country, Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Katrougalos, held successive meetings with Turkish state and government agencies. Mr. Katrougalos met today, in Istanbul, with the President, Rahmi Koc, and high ranking executives of the Koc Group; with the vice president of the Turkish Business and Industry Association (TUSIAD), Simon Kaslowski; and with the president of Turkey’s Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD), Abdurrahman Kaan. The purpose of the mission was to facilitate preparations for future institutional cooperation between Greek and Turkish business groups and their direct communication.Mr. Katrougalos also visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate and met with His All Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Bartholomew.
