The Deputy Foreign Minister for International Economic Relations, Dimitris Mardas, met at the Foreign Ministry today with representatives of the sector of renewable energy sources, subsequent to the interest expressed by the Kenyan government during Mr. Mardas’s recent visit to Nairobi and the more general interest in developing renewable energy sources.During the meeting, there was a discussion of the prospects for relevant Greek enterprises’ expanding into now target markets in Africa and the Middle East. Moreover, a now outline was provided of the Foreign Ministry’s strategy for the renewables sector, and a new, expanded meeting was scheduled for early September.
