Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke with Podemos party leader Pablo Iglesias late on Sunday, after electoral results showed that Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy’s conservative party lost the absolute majority in national elections. According to government sources, Tsipras congratulated Iglesias and agreed with him that the results signalled the political loss of austerity governments.
