BRUSSELS (AP) — The European Union's executive is calling for an extraordinary summit of several EU and Balkan leaders next Sunday to deal with the migrant crisis. A statement from EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker's office on Wednesday said "there is a need for much greater cooperation, more extensive consultation and immediate operational action." Nations invited to attend are Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. Join the conversation about this story »
