U.S. astronaut Scott Kelly sent his best wishes to Greece from the International Space Station, as the debt-ridden country struggles to get a new bailout agreement while on the brink of bankruptcy. Kelly posted on his personal twitter account a picture of Athens from above, commenting: “Athens, Greece, good morning from the space station! Wishing you the best.” Kelly’s wishes come at a crucial time as Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras tries to convince the 28 European Union leaders that Greece needs to stay in the Eurozone and have its debt restructured.
