Meanwhile, a discussion between the U.S. President and German Chancellor Angela Merkel had preceded on Sunday, while United States Treasury Secretary Jack Lew had contacted Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras regarding the latest developments over the Greek debt crisis.
