Greece's finance minister has dashed hopes that the country could reach a deal with its creditors in the coming days, saying that it has until the end of the month to secure an agreement. On Wednesday, French President Francois Hollande said that a deal could be a matter of "days or hours" away, and many had speculated that Greece would agree terms with its bailout lenders before Friday's €300m (£220m) loan payment to the International Monetary Fund is due. However, Mr Varoufakis's comments indicate that the differences between Greece and its creditors remain large, and will take many more meetings to resolve.
