Arriving to the meeting, Eurogroup head Jeroen Dijsselbloem told reporters that he was very negatively surprised by Greek government’s decision to call a referendum adding that Athens has closed the door on future talks. In the same line, Germany’s finance minister, Wolfgang Schäuble, told reporters that Greece has decided to end negotiations. He said there are no basis for further talks with Greece. However, earlier on Saturday, IMF chief Christine Lagarde said that Greece’s creditors “will continue to work” on a deal to save the country, even amid a referendum. (source: fxstreet)
