Main opposition Syriza leads over senior ruling coalition partner New Democracy by 4.6 percentage points in voting intent, according to a Metron Analysis poll conducted for the “Parapolitika” newspaper and released late on Friday. In the poll, Syriza got 35.4 percent, New Democracy 30.8 percent, To Potami 7.1 percent, Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avgi) 5.4 percent, Communist Party of Greece (KKE) 5.1 percent, junior ruling coalition partner Pasok 4.2 percent and Independent Greeks (ANEL) 3 percent. According to the poll, the parties that will not make it in Parliament (under 3 percent of votes) include former PM George Papandreou’s party KIDISO with 2.7 percent and Popular Orthodox Rally (LAOS) 1.4 percent.
