An earthquake was recorded earlier today in the sea area southwest of the island of Cephalonia, in the Ionian Sea in Greece. According to the Geodynamic Institute of Athens the two earthquakes measured 4.8 on the Richter scale and are categorized as “minor quakes”. The epicenter of the quakes was located at the Palliki Peninsula sea area, but did not have a great depth. No injuries or damages have been reported so far, but citizens are rather uptight after the island’s recent quakes last winter that have caused major damages to a great deal of structures and construction on the island.
