OFI defender Dele Adeleye conceded the match-winner with an own goal in the 22nd minute, and Jimmy Durmaz and Alejandro Dominguez put the result away with scores in the 44th and 54th minutes, respectively. Olympiakos aimed at conserving its forces for its Champions League match on Tuesday against visiting Atletico Madrid, but still dominated the game. It had 25 attempts at goal against OFI's one, and also had a shot by Jorge Benitez hit the crossbar in the 69th. Olympiakos shares second place with PAOK, also a 3-0 winner over newcomer Niki Volos on Saturday. Veria, which overcame a first-minute goal by visiting Kerkyra to win 2-1, tops the league with three wins in as many games.
