Euro 2016 qualifiers clockwatch live!

The week of football continues as Wales travel to Andorra, Norway host Italy and Czech Republic take on HollandPlease send hilarious emails to simon.burnton@theguardian.comOr do it Twitter-style @Simon_Burnton 7.55pm BST That was Andorras first goal for a full four years. Four years!1463 - Andorra have scored their first competitive goal in 1463 days, since last scoring in Sept 2010 v Rep of Ire. Shock. 7.55pm BST I watched Kazakhstan-Latvia earlier, writes JR in Illinois. Some 0-0 games are pretty entertaining. This wasnt one of those. As far as I can tell the only item of note in the match was in the first half. Some subs were warming up along the sideline (not sure from which team) but one of them was much too close to the pitch and he ended up running head-first into the assistant referee. The player was fine but the assistant needed treatment for a couple minutes before continuing. I have a mixture of the utmost respect and enormous pity for any neutral who decides that watching Kazakhstan-Latvia is a good idea. 7.52pm BST The Andorran captain and centre-back sends Wayne Hennessey the wrong way, and Andorra have scored their first goal in 20 matches! 7.51pm BST Penalty to Andorra! Ivan Lorenzo goes down, having beein lightly brushed by the hand of Neil Taylor. The referee waves play on, but then an assistant clearly has a word and he calls play back! 7.50pm BST Clouds of funny black synthetic pitch seeds are flying up every time the ball lands on Andorras pitch, and the ball is, by way of protest, refusing to roll very far. Gabriel Riera of Andorra executes possibly the skill move of the day, pirouetting in midfield and bemusing a couple of markers. 7.46pm BST An early effort for Wales, who have Chris Gunter cutting in from the right and having a stinging shot saved with 39 seconds on the clock. 7.45pm BST Theyre under way in Andorra. Fifteen seconds played. No goals, obviously. 7.45pm BST Has Kacper Przybylko, scorer of Polands goal in their 3-1 Under-21 defeat in Greece, got more consecutive consonants in his surname than any other footballer ever? Probably not, but hes certainly got a few. 7.43pm BST Anthem time, and theres some excellent choral work going on in Prague. No dodgy national anthem instrumental CD required there theyre going a cappella. 7.32pm BST Heres a close-up of the pitch in Andorra, which is entirely grass-free: 7.28pm BST Interesting selection issues: Emanuele Giaccherini, having made one substitute appearance for Sunderland in the league this season, starts for Italy. Ill mainly be keeping tabs on the goings-on in Andorra and Prague, where Daley Blind and Robin van Persie are among the starters. 7.22pm BST Some teams for you, including news of Wales line-up in Andorra:Andorra: Pol, Garcia Miramontes, Lima, Maneiro Ton, Rubio, Vales, Peppe, Ayala Diaz, Martinez Alejo, Lorenzo Roncero, Riera. Subs: Josep Anton Gomez, Sonejee, Rodrigues, Vieira de Vasconcelos, Sanchez Soto, Clemente, Moreno. Wales: Hennessey, Gunter, Neil Taylor, Chester, Davies, Ashley Williams, Allen, King, Ramsey, Bale, Church. Subs: Fon Williams, Dummett, Gabbidon, Vaughan, Ledley, Lawrence, Jonathan Williams, Huws, Jake Taylor, John, George Williams, Letheren. Referee: Slavko Vincic (Slovenia). 7.17pm BST Hello world! The best place to start, in many ways, would be a list of tonights fixtures. So here it is. In case youre wondering, Bahrain beat Kuwait 1-0, Faouzi Aaish with the goal in the 15th minute. Continue reading...
