One of the World’s Most Impressive Pools Built in Tinos

A villa that is being built on the Greek island of Tinos, will have one of the world’s most impressive pools. The house which is located on a slope, has been fully incorporated into the landscape, while the pool will be used as a natural way of architectural camouflage and will be placed on the roof of the villa. The pool will be located on the edge of the cliff and extended beyond it, while it will not have any frame in order to create the illusion that it is a natural continuation of the sea. According to the architectural designs, it will work as a type of camouflage for the house. In fact when looking from above, one will only be able to see the pool which will blend in with the natural landscape. During the day, the water will reflect the surrounding environment, and during the night it will reflect the Greece ‘s starry sky. Villa Mirage, is a project by Kois Associates Architects, which will span on one level and has a surface of 198 square meters. It will offer its residents a panoramic view of the landscape as well as the seascape.
