At the league's halfway point, Olympiakos is a point ahead of PAOK, which lost 3-0 to Asteras on Saturday, and six over Panathinaikos, a 5-0 winner over Ergotelis Sunday. Costas Mitroglou scored in the 19th and 53rd minutes, with headers from an Alexandro Dominguez free-kick and corner kick. Mathieu Dossevi added a goal in the 30th and Adrian Lucero scored a consolation goal for Xanthi in the 82nd. Also, OFI beat Kerkyra 3-2, Atromitos drew 1-1 at Panthrakikos and Panetolikos vs. Giannena ended in a 0-0 draw. Niki Volos, in dire financial straits, forfeited a match for the second round in a row, this time to Levadiakos.
