by  Associated Press Kalloni beats Panathinaikos 1-0 in Greek league Associated Press - 14 September 2014 17:28-04:00 ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Leozinho scored with a swerving shot from outside the area in the 35th minute to give Kalloni a 1-0 win over visiting Panathinaikos in the Greek league Sunday. Kalloni played a man down for the last 11 minutes, including seven added as injury time, but had no trouble holding on for the win. The win put Kalloni in joint second place with PAOK, Olympiakos and Atromitos, which stumbled to a 0-0 home draw against Panetolikos. Veria, which beat Kerkyra 2-1 Saturday, remains the only team with a perfect record after three rounds. Panathinaikos is tied for eighth with Kerkyra. Also Sunday, Panionios beat Asteras 2-1, Xanthi drew 2-2 at Giannena and Panthrakikos drew 1-1 at Levadiakos. Ergotelis hosts fellow Cretans Platanias Monday.
