United have signed Samuel Inkoom, a midfielder-defender who has been on Ghana's last two World Cup rosters. The club announced the acquisition of the 25-year-old player Friday. Inkoom has 46 career appearances with Ghana. He had been with Ukraine's FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk since 2011. He was on loan to French club SC Bastia last year and Greece's Platanias FC this year.
