Coalition has the solution for Greece, says Kouvelis

Kammenos calls coalition "another Simitis government"

The leader of the Independent Greeks Panos Kammenos, during his speech concerning the government policy, made it absolutely clear that his party would not be offering any support to the Antonis Samaras led coalition.

In his speech, he accused the coalition of the Democratic Left, Pasok and New Democracy of effectively being "just another Simitis government".

Venizelos calls for extension of fiscal adjustment

Greece now needs the clear political support of its partners, so that the fiscal crisis will not turn into a crisis of social cohesion and political dysfunction, because Greece cannot serve as a "laboratory of failure of the eurozone policies" but rather of those policies' renewal to bring it out of the crisis.

The words belong to Pasok party leader Evangelos Venizelos, who was speaking at a meeting of his party's parliamentary group.
