Obama urges Greece to work with "Troika" on economic reform

The US President Barack Obama spoke with newly-elected Greek Prime Minister on Monday in a phone call and urged him to work with the European Union and other European bodies to implement reform program, the White House said in a statement.

Barack Obama heads to the G20 summit on Sunday, in the knowledge that his presidency may depend on swift, sweeping action by his European counterparts to contain their financial contagion.
