Wolfgang Schäuble, the enforcer-in-chief of austerity who tried unsuccessfully to bounce GREECE out of the eurozone in 2015, is no longer finance minister. His likely successor, Social Democrat Olaf Scholz, has argued that Berlin should stop telling other European countries how to run their economies.
