The business, founded in 1918 by GREEK immigrant Peter George at 1118 11th St. is run today by his grandson, Bob Lamont, and his wife, Cindy, at 1122 12th Ave. “This business has been in the same area for 100 years through redevelopment, Gable's closing and the recession,” Bob Lamont said.
