Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will attend the Meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers taking place in Brussels tomorrow, Friday, 31 March. The meeting of Foreign Ministers will focus on the importance of transatlantic cooperation, consolidation of regional and global security, and preparation for the May 2017 NATO Summit Meeting. There will also be a discussion of the challenges the Alliance in facing in the "Southern Neighbourhood" region, during which Foreign Minister Kotzias will highlight Greece's key role in regional stability. During the working luncheon, which will also be attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Ms. Mogherini, there will be a discussion of NATO-Russia relations. Subsequently, the NATO-Ukraine Commission will convene, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Klimkin in attendance.
