At 11:00 on Wednesday, 15 March 2017, Deputy Foreign Minister Ioannis Amanatidis is to attend a joint session of the Parliamentary Committees on Educational Affairs, the Parliament Library, and Greeks Abroad. The topic of the joint session, which is to take place in the Senate Hall, will be “cooperation between the Library of the Hellenic Parliament and the Library of the Theological School of Halki - Reorganising, cataloguing, and publicising the priceless documents of the Theological School of Halki.” It is to be recalled that the Hellenic Parliament, through the Directorate of its Library, began its collaboration with the Holy Theological School of the Holy Trinity of Halki in 2014, with the goal of restoring, reorganising, and promoting the wealth of books and cultural documents on its premises, in accordance with international standards and the potential provided by modern technology.
