Efthymia Stergiou — a senior citizen, aged 77 — sat for the nationwide Panhellenic Exams along with over 100,000 students around Greece. Her decision to hit the books and sit for the university entrance exams was a childhood dream that she was unable to fulfill due to the conditions in place when she was younger.
