Greece is still very far from achieving its goals and the country is wasting time, main opposition New Democracy spokesman Costas Karagounis said on Monday evening, commenting on the results of the Eurogroup meeting that ended earlier. “We are still very far from achieving our goal. The bottom line is that the country is wasting time, uncertainty remains and the bill that citizens have to pay keeps rising,” Karagounis said. “After the nonsense about part-time tax officials on the islands that caused hilarity, SYRIZA started adopting some of the previous government’s proposals, like providing people motives (lottery) to ask for receipts and the measures for triangular transactions,” the New Democracy spokesman noted.
