The first opinion poll conducted after SYRIZA’s win last Sunday showed, more than half of respondents are satisfied with Greece ’s election result According to the survey conducted by Metron Analysis for Saturday’s edition of Parapolitika, 56% of those questioned said they were pleased with the result, 18% were displeased and 19% were indifferent. Concerning the country’s economic state, 78% believe it’s bad, while 15% was neutral. Asked whether they believed it will improve, 38% said “yes,” 32% said it will remain the same and 21% said things will worsen. Commenting on the coalition formed between Syriza and its junior partner, the Independent Greeks (ANEL), 56% said it is a positive development, versus 35% who consider it a negative outcome. Asked on specific ministerial appointments, 60% of those who answered said Yanis Varoufakis is a good choice for Finance Minister, while 11% were opposed. On ANEL leader and new Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos, 51% of respondents said they agreed, while 36% believe it was a bad choice.
