Alexis Mikhail gave Giannena the lead into halftime. Costas Fortounis brought Olympiakos level with a 50th-minute penalty, and Pajtim Kasami put the hosts ahead in the 75th. Three days after losing 2-1 at home to league-leading PAOK, second-place Olympiakos was four points behind PAOK, which can increase its lead when it host Xanthi on Sunday. Giannena was in eighth place, seven points behind Olympiakos. Also, Veria beat Platanias 2-0, and Kerkyra and Atromitos drew 1-1 on a waterlogged field.
