Greece on Friday reported a primary budget surplus of 3.5 billion euros in the January-November period, from a primary surplus of 2.8 billion euros in the same period last year and up 660 million euros compared to set target. According to Greek Finance Ministry preliminary data on budget execution, the general government deficit totalled 1.9 billion euros in the January-November period, from a deficit of 3.2 billion euros last year and a target of 2.5 billion euros. Net state budget revenue totalled 45.9 billion euros, down 1.2 billion euros from budget target. Tax returns totalled 3.1 billion euros, from 2.5 billion euros last year and a 2.9-billion-euro target. State budget spending totalled 37 billion euros in the January-November period, down 2.2 billion euros from last year.
