Telegraph: Greece is Ideal for Fall Vacation

British newspaper “The Telegraph” described Greece as one of the ultimate fall vacation destinations, stressing that in several islands of the Cyclades, Crete and Rhodes, tourists can enjoy the sun, warm seas and beauty of the landscape at very affordable prices. Telegraph travel writer Nick Trend stated that if someone thinks he has lost the opportunity to enjoy a little sun in Greece, “it certainly isn’t too late.” Even though the weather cannot always be predictable, there are several places in the south of Europe where people can go on vacation even in late September. Among places like Sardinia and Majorca, Trend also mentioned several Greek islands of the Cyclades, Crete and Rhodes as destinations that tourists should seriously consider for their fall vacation. Early September The Cyclades islands offer a wide variety of locations, “from the hedonistic clubbing and restaurant scene of Mykonos to spectacular views of Santorini, and quieter Naxos and Paros.” Late September For the last days of September, Telegraph suggests Crete as the ultimate destination because, being one of the most southern islands in the Mediterranean, it has excellent weather even in early October, while there are many vacancies in hotels and rooms are quite large and reasonably priced. In early October, people who refuse to believe that winter is approaching can also visit Rhodes because it is still warm and hotels offer great deals while visitors will have the chance to enjoy the island’s beauty without having to fight the tourist crowds who take up every nook and cranny during summer months.
