Four Greek Beaches on World’s Top 100 List

Greek beaches continue to allure people from all over the world with their immense beauty and crystal clear waters. This is why it’s no great surprise that four of them were included on a list of top 100 beaches in the world. According to Tripadvisor, three of the top four Greek beaches are located in Eptanisa and one of them in Crete. More specifically, Elafonisi beach in Crete ranked among the top 20, while Egremnoi (Lefkada), Myrtos (Kefalonia)  and Navagio (Zakynthos) beaches made it on the top 100. Apart from the above mentioned, a survey conducted by the European Commission reported that nine out of ten beaches in Greece meet the strictest requirements and their bathing water is considered of excellent quality.
