Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy and Openness, Kostas Fragogiannis, will travel to Moldova on May 11, 2023, leading a delegation of the Joint Interministerial Committee for Economic, Technological and Scientific Cooperation between Greece and Moldova, which will convene for the fourth time on Friday, May 12, 2023, in Chisinau.On Moldova’s side, the Committee will be led by Vadim Gumene, Deputy Minister for Economic Development and Digitalization. The 4th Session's agenda includes issues of economic and trade cooperation and investment, as well as the promotion of cooperation in the fields of agricultural production, energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and cybersecurity, research, and technology, and in the areas of health, education, culture, tourism and regional cooperation.In the context of the Committee's work, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Fragogiannis, will sign, in addition to the Protocol of the Committee, a Memorandum of Cooperation between ENTERPRISE GREECE and its corresponding Moldovan entity INVEST MOLDOVA, as well as a Joint Action Plan between the two countries' Ministries of Tourism.During his visit, the Deputy Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu, as well as with Minister of Energy, Victor Parlicov.
