A total of 928 people were diagnosed with the virus up from the 427 yesterday. The spike was partly attributed to increased testing. A further 40 fatalities were also confirmed bringing the death toll, which surpassed the grim milestone of 5,000 on Monday, to 5,051. Some 405 patients are intubated EODY said, adding that the average age of those in intensive care is 68.
