Referring to the first meeting of the International Team of Experts provided for by the Prespa Agreement, the Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs stated that “the Prespa Agreement is being implemented with very substantial and stable steps. Yesterday, 22 June, the International Team of Experts met in a plenary assembly in Skopje, consisting of delegations appointed by Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia whose role is to examine and resolve potential disputes between our countries’ business communities on issues of trademarks, commercial names, etc. Its next meeting has been set for the first week of November, in Athens. What does all this mean? That through the Prespa Agreement, Greece has opened the way for the “debalkanisation” of any problems and disputes in the region, that it has achieved the necessary environment for dialogue which shall usher in the growth of the local communities in a climate of consensus, that it has torn down the walls of revisionism and barren political introversion of the past.”
