We denounce, in the strongest manner, today's act of vandalism at the residence of the Ambassador of our friendly country, the United States of America. It is an unacceptable and irresponsible action, which nonetheless shall not affect the friendship and the expanding cooperation between our two countries; a cooperation which is based on common principles and values, to the benefit of both our peoples. The competent Greek authorities are taking all necessary action to bring those responsible to justice.
