Alternate Minister of Foreign Affairs Sia Anagnostopoulou received in her office today, Monday 4 March, the French Ambassador Christophe Chantepy, in the context of a courtesy meeting on the occasion of assumption of her duties. During the meeting, the excellent relations between the two countries were confirmed, with regard to all bilateral relations, and views were exchanged on current developments on a European and international level. In this context, the French Ambassador recognised Greece's role as a pillar of stability in the Balkans and Southeast Europe. Issues related to the upcoming BREXIT were also discussed, as well as methods and possibilities for further strengthening Greek-French collaboration in fields of common interest and the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries.
