This family-owned and operated former fishing lodge has evolved since opening 30 years ago to offer a well-rounded slate of wild adventures, from tame pursuits like foraging for wild berries to over-the-top adventures like taking a helicopter to otherwise inaccessible alpine lakes for stand-up paddleboarding. Nimmo Bay has the distinction of being one of National Geographic's Unique Lodges of the World, a small collection of properties selected for, among other qualifiers, the rare experiences they offer and their commitment to local communities and the environment. The luxury resort has also been named one of the best luxury lodges in British Columbia by CNN, and boasts a five-star TripAdvisor rating.
